The TVA1000B is the only portable, intrinsically safe, survey flame ionization (FID) monitor which provides fast and accurate readings of organic and inorganic vapors and meets EPA Method 21 specifications for monitoring fugitive emissions. TVA1000B is built for fast, simple operation in real-world field conditions. A large keypad ensures straight-forward, easy operation, with or without gloves. Datalogging is activated by a thumb-switch on the hand held probe. Operations are menu-driven and displays are bright and easy to read. FID Detection with the TVA 1000B allows users to measure a wide variety of organic vapors over an impressive dynamic range (0-50,000 ppm). FID allows the user to monitor some compounds that the PID will not detect. The flame ionization detector operates by breaking Hydrogen-Carbon bonds and is not limited by the ionization potential of the molecule.
